The revolutionary MicroDynamics® microwave ultraviolet disinfection technology uses microwaves to energize low-pressure, high-output UV electrodeless lamps to maximize a UVC output at 254 nm. The MicroDynamics microwave ultraviolet (UV) disinfection systems are available in modular, open channel and closed vessel system designs suitable for municipal or industrial water and wastewater applications. The MicroDynamics systems are a proven, cost-effective, reliable and safe UV disinfection treatment method.
MicroDynamics is the only UV disinfection technology to offer:
- Ultra-long lamp life warranted for 3 years
- Reliable and accurate control:
- Rapid restart of system
- MicroPace™ technology
- Unlimited start / stop of system with no degradation in UVC output or lamp life
- Operation in dry channel(s)
- No electrical connections in the water:
- Simple maintenance requirements
- Increased safety
MicroDynamics Series OCS721
The new MicroDynamics Series OCS721 open channel microwave UV system offers long lamp life with even greater operating cost savings for municipal wastewater disinfection and water reuse applications. With a smaller footprint, MicroDynamics OCS721 systems deliver even greater efficiency. The system operates in a dry channel offering consistent disinfection due to its unlimited on/off capacity with no reduction in UVC output or lamp life. The system is also NWRI validated for water reuse.
MicroDynamics Series OCS660
The MicroDynamics Series OCS660 open channel wastewater microwave UV system meets wastewater disinfection needs for a variety of dose, log reduction and water quality requirements. The MicroDynamics systems feature MicroPace™ a flow pacing technology that can match UV dose to operating conditions in real time to save energy.
The MicroDynamics CV02 closed vessel microwave UV disinfection systems is a patented design from Severn Trent Services. Systems are available in a closed vessel arrangement for efficient and effective treatment of both drinking water and wastewater. A single CV02 two lamp system can treat up to 1400 GPM (7,570 m³/day). The MicroDynamics CV02 has also been independently validated to treat Cryptosporidium by HydroQual Environmental Engineers and Scientists, P.C. to the latest United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) LT2/UVDGM regulations.
