Two Severn Trent Services Operating Services Divisions, C2C Services and Severn Trent Metering Services, Win Gold Health and Safety Awards for Second Consecutive Year
C2C Services Limited and Severn Trent Metering Services Limited, two divisions of Severn Trent Services Operating Services UK and Ireland, have been honoured for the second consecutive year by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) for exceptional track records in health and safety and initiatives to keep employees and customers safe. Both organisations won Gold Awards at the RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2011 held on 17th May in Birmingham, UK. According to RoSPA, both organisations’ health and safety management systems exemplify best practices.
C2C Services and Severn Trent Metering Services manage the water and wastewater assets for nearly 1,500 UK Ministry of Defence sites across England. They have provided internal plumbing solutions, water distribution asset maintenance, network maintenance and meter installation for 15 years, installing more than 1.5 million meters to date.
RoSPA has been at the heart of accident prevention in the United Kingdom and around the world for more than 90 years. The society promotes safety and the prevention of accidents at work, at leisure, on the road and in the home through safety education. The RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Awards are the country’s longest running and most highly respected occupational safety awards program.
