Severn Trent Services Apliclor Elected Aqua Espana Board Member |

|
Severn Trent Services-Apliclor, a leading supplier of potable and wastewater treatment solutions, has been selected as a member of the Board of Directors of the Asociación Española de Empresas de Tratamiento y Control de Aguas – Aqua España. The company has been nominated to join eight other representatives who have responsibility for the management of the association, which includes more than 130 organisations from the Spanish water sector.
According to Carlos Martín, commercial director of Severn Trent Services–Apliclor, “We are delighted to have been nominated to the Aqua España board of directors. This is the most important and influential association in the water treatment sector in which the leading companies in Spain are represented.”
Carlos Martín is the company’s representative in Aqua España and will be responsible, together with the other members of the board of directors, for promoting the common interests of the member companies. A key initiative for the Aqua España board will be the implementation of the association’s new strategic plan.
Aqua España is a nationwide non-profit association with 25 years experience in business leadership specialising in, and professionally dedicated to, the treatment of water for industry, human consumption, the domestic sector and the public-private sectors, based on criteria of safety and sustainability. Aqua España member companies range from small- and medium-sized, family-based organisations to multinational enterprises, all specialising in water treatment and control.
Aqua España is a founder member of Aqua Europa, the European Water Treatment Federation, which coordinates and combines the national associations and represents their common interests in dealings with the European institutions and bodies. |
